There is no four-post, heavy duty drive-on lift like it due to the fact it has no cross beams fore or aft. It has totally open floor configuration east-west and north-south. Unlike other stationary platform lifts, this lift has adjustable runways for multi-wheel base vehicles.

Four-Post General Features and Technical Characteristics:

Advanced State-of-the-Art Technology: Hydraulic system is electrically controlled using potentiometers to monitor vehicle weight displacement and ensuring smooth synchronization between four lifting points. Programmable lifting height, lighting and foot protection are provided.

Maximum Safety:

• Combination locking pawl (solenoid activated) and metal ladders on carriage operate independently of drive mechanism and represent fail-safe design.
• Hose burst valve protection prevents lift from rapid descent in case of hydraulic fluid loss
• High quality DOMEX steel provides for long life.

Other Features Include:

• Long Service Life: Developed and tested for 50,000 lifting operations at maximum load.
• Very Low Drive-on Height: 27" wide runways enjoy drive-on height of 8 5/8" for ST4175 and 11" for ST4250. This means that low ground clearance vehicles can easily access this lift.
• Incredible Lifting Height: With 75" of lifting height, even the tallest of mechanics can work under the vehicle and prevent back injuries
• Adjustable Runways: Runways can be adjusted laterally with a minimum range of adjustment of 6 inches.
• Flexible Positioning: Because there are no cross beams, the lift can be installed with a width compatible to the customer's needs and in-line with space limitations found in the workshop.
• Vertical Lifting: The Stertil-Koni series four-post lifts rise vertically (no overhang like a parallelogram) at an incredible fast rate of 72 seconds for the ST-4250.
• Tandem Configurations: Unlike any other lift in the world, the Stertil-Koni four post lifts can be used in tandem, linking two lifts in a line. The user can operate the two lifts as a synchronized pair or operate both lifts independently. This is especially necessary when lifting articulated buses, trucks and semi-trailers. This makes these unique models an excellent choice for vehicles with an uneven weight distribution, for example, a truck and crane combination. Most tandem combinations are ALI/ETL certified. Model ST 4120 — 30,000 lbs. Capacity

It is electrically synchronized through the use of potentiometers linked to a micro-processor that precisely monitors parallel lifting of the two runways. If you are interested in cheap import made lifts, this is not the place to shop! Sophisticated in every way, this lift meets the new ALI/ALCTV 2006 standard, now required in most states in the United States.

The 4120 is fully certified by the Automotive Lift Institute and meets the most stringent mechanical standards. If quality matters, then this is the only four post 30,000 lb. lift you want to consider!

The Stertil-Koni Skylift

Stertil-Koni engineers are the smartest in the industry. The Skylift incorporates all the best features of a platform lift; provides a totally free CLEAR FLOOR concept. The two independent runways have no connection to get in the way of operator movement or under chassis access.

The modular design allows for flush-mounted or surface-mounted installation and encourages various lengths to be incorporated in a single lift. The lift was designed with ease of installation in mind. Two factory authorized installers can install the lift in one day! Reach for the SKY!

Skylift Features and Technical Characteristics:

• Skylift offers vertical lifting with NO POSTS, and no crossbeam fore or aft...
• Locking from floor level with 31 teeth
• Clear floor access from all sides allows no obstructions for axle stands, wheel dollies, etc.
• No base frame
• Minimal horizontal forces with 4 plates and 4 X M16 anchor bolts per foot plate. Minimal concrete strength required.
• Easily movable
• Four independent legs provide maximum access with no tripping hazard and individual synchronization and weight distribution through inclinometers 1/100 degree.
• The Stertil-Koni Skylift can be either flush-mounted or surface-mounted. Flush-mounted recess is 15.7".
• Lifting articulated vehicles can be accommodated through a modular approach by adding 4.12" feet to either side of the lifting platform thereby extending runway by 8.25 feet. Therefore, with a 33 foot runway, actual runway length is 41 ¼ feet. Notice that regardless of runway length the number of legs is 4. NO NEED FOR EXTRA LEGS.
• All rotating axles are manufactured from stainless steel and come with a 10-year warranty.

The ECO Lift is innovative. Designed to address both the ecology and economics of hydraulic, in-ground, axle-engaging piston lifts, as well as the more expensive modular designs, the ECOLIFT creates a whole new category of lifts.

The ECO lift is the industry's first ultra-shallow, full-rise, in-ground, heavy duty lift. It is ideally suited for high bedrock and high water table areas. Its unique massive scissors ensure controlled lifting and precise centering underneath the chassis of the vehicle.

The ECO Lift offers capacities of 60,000 lbs. (2-scissor) and 90,000 lbs. (3-scissor), and it can fit any configuration of heavy duty vehicle. For example, it can lift any heavy duty bus or truck by the axles.

The system is operated via high-pressure, low-pressure hydraulics; the volume of hydraulic oil is only 3.5 gallons per scissor. The Stertil-Koni heavy duty inground lifts offer the broadest range of solutions, with the ability to be installed in a concrete vault, a steel cassette, or retro-fitted in an existing concrete vault.

A number of models, with from two-to-four rams, are offered. All 32,000 lb. and 50,000 lb. ram systems are ALI/ETL certified. The piston stroke for all models is 75 inches. These lifts are environmentally safe, and operate without any plumbing, hydraulic pipe lines or hoses.

Motors, pumps, and valve blocks are located in the fully enclosed oil tanks. Electronic monitoring systems are also fully guarded in the individual oil tanks. Hydraulic synchronization keeps lifting cylinders within a 2-inch height difference.

The hydraulic power unit is directly flanged to the lifting cylinder. Vehicle leveling ensured by means of load sensors on each ram, and the system offers emergency lowering in case of a power failure. The hard, chrome-plated pistons have an excellent resistance to corrosion, which translates to a long lifespan.
